We have been expertly creating contemporary and traditional hair and make-up styles for Brisbane brides for years.

Lucie

Lucie has been hairdressing for 24 years and owned her own Award winning salon for 10 years which she sold in 2000. After selling her salon Lucie started the Bella Brides Bridal Hair and Makeup business which she ran part-time for a few years before taking a position as Manager of a Stefan's salon and subsequently a tmh salon.

After leaving tmh Lucie decided to concentrate on the Bella Brides business full-time as she found that her passion was creating the perfect look for brides on the most important day of their lives. Lucie is very up to date with both contemporary and classic bridal designs.

Lucie and her staff did the hair for the fashion parade for the launch of the Brisbane Wedding Guide. Lucie did the cover hairstyle of Brisbane Wedding Guide 2005 as well as pages inside the magazine. Lucie also did hair for the Gold Coast Wedding Guide for 2004 and there are pages of her work in the Wedding Guide.

Lucie has also taught upstyles at various venues as part of professional hair and makeup courses. Lucie is very experienced at all the types of hair extension technologies and is able to offer this service to brides and those who are interested

Delaine

Delaine has been hairdressing for over 25 years. Delaine owned her own salon in New Zealand for many years and achieved regional awards for her wedding and avant-garde creations.

Delaine worked for Stefan's before deciding to work part time in a salon so she could specialise in Bridal work. Delaine is very creative and knows everyone is an individual and works with each bridal party to achieve the look and style they want.

Delaine is up to date with all styles - classic and modern. Being a qualified hairdresser and not just a hair stylist, Delaine knows how important it is for your style to last. With years of experience in the bridal industry she knows how important your wedding day is.

Michelle

Michelle is a Professional Airbrush Makeup Artist with over 15 years experience in the Bridal and Fashion Industry. Her work is constantly published in both National and International Magazines. Michelle is also highly experienced in the Bridal Industry having completed hundreds of weddings in her career, always keeping up to date with the current trends and fashions. Michelle is able to create the exact look you are after for your perfect day!!

Airbrush Makeup lasts 12-24 hours. The foundation is oil free, high definition makeup which makes it perfect for Photography and Television. Airbrushing allows you to create a sheer coverage or a flawless look without the product feeling or looking heavy in appearance. It truly is the best alternative for a long lasting look!!

Melanie

Melanie has been doing hair and makeup for over 15 years. Melanie is well respected within the Industry and she has made hundreds of brides happy with her professional attention and her hair and makeup artistry.

She makes it her personal goal to ensure that each and every bride she speaks to and meets, is completely happy!

Melanie also does waxing, spray tanning and eyelash extensions.

Bridal Trial

One of the most important things we do with you is the trial appointment. This is the day when we work out all the details of how your hair and makeup will look. It is important that you have an idea of the sort of hairstyle and makeup you would like as it is not possible to try endless styles at the trial due to time constraints. If you would like to try a few styles then we can allow extra time but there will be a surcharge. We ask you to bring your headpiece and veil or tiara, so that we can work them into the style. We photograph the finished look for our reference.

This appointment generally takes place a few months before your wedding at one of our trial studios at either Wellington Point or Mackenzie. We are flexible about what works for you. We can do entire wedding party trials if you want us to. This is a great idea for hens nights and special events.

Bridal Trial

When deciding on your hairstyle, you may need to consider the neckline of your gown, the shape of your face, and the style of your headpiece and veil. We can work out and offer you colour appointments if you need to have colour.

As you browse through wedding and fashion magazines, cut out photographs of hair and makeup looks that appeal to you. Compile a scrap book of images to show to us to give us an idea of the look you want to achieve. You will be able to find a huge array of hairstyles and ideas on the internet. Most magazines have lots of pictures too. Bring your copy of the magazines with you when you visit us to give us an idea of the bridal looks which appeal to you. If you aren't too sure, we can help you.

On your wedding day, relax and be pampered in the comfort of your own home or hotel suite. We will come to you and take care of you, making sure everything runs smoothly.

We arrive at the pre-arranged time and make sure you are ready in time to enjoy your special day.
